GL3D Event centre revealed

The 2016 Great Lakeland 3Day will start and finish at the northern foot of Bassenthwaite Lake at Herdwick Croft.

Our Bassenthwaite Event Centre location opens up plenty of route options for the event with the western and northern fells close by… the only question is which way round will the courses be going!

The entry limit for the 2016 GL3D™ is 300 and at the time of writing, there are fewer than twenty entries remaining. See who's entered so far.

These details should allow participants already signed up to make their necessary travel and accommodation arrangements. A lift sharing facility is already set up via Racelifts.org where you can quickly enter your postcode in case someone else is also travelling the same way to the event - sign up now. For public transport users, we recommend Traveline's website to help plan your journey.

Don’t forget though that the Event Centre is the place to be on the Friday night! There will once again be a superb selection of films from the Best of ShAFF (Sheffield Adventure Film Festival), fine beers and a hearty evening meal on offer. Car parking will open at 1600 and participants can collect their maps at registration (open 1800) and begin planning their long weekend of Lake District adventure!
